Corporate Collaborators
In 1987, 33 companies made an initial investment, establishing a solid foundation for the Foundation’s future growth. These companies were designated the role of Founding Companies, a title reflecting their pivotal role in the project’s inception.
Over the years, numerous companies have joined the Foundation, each playing a crucial part in achieving the organisation’s goals. Their continued support through renewed contributions has been instrumental in the Foundation’s success.

Individual Collaborators
The individual collaborators of the Foundation are citizens who, motivated by a sense of responsibility and a desire to contribute to a project of cultural significance in the city, offer their support to the MACBA Museum in a diverse array of ways.
The MACBA Foundation organises a range of exclusive activities for the individual partners, including guided tours of the Museum’s exhibitions led by the curator or director, conferences on collecting and patronage, guided visits to other contemporary art centres, and colloquium dinners with prominent figures in the artistic and cultural field.
The largest group of individual collaborators is the Foundation’s “Taller”. It was established in 1999 by the Patronage and began as a youth group in the cultural and corporate sectors. Since then, its objective has been to promote the Foundation and Museum’s activities and to raise funds and resources for the creation of the museum’s permanent collection.
