Since 2022, the MACBA Foundation has been anually organising Sustainability Conferences. These conferences focus on how cultural institutions and projects contribute to environmental and social well-being, and how practices in the artistic field can be transformed to build stronger communities.

The conferences are for the artistic sector and aim to share experiences, knowledge and best practices of artistic institutions in the field of sustainability. They address different topics, ranging from programming, education, audience policy or logistics to management.
