Last November 29th, the MACBA Foundation organized the MACBA ART NIGHT PLENSA benefit dinner with the aim of raising funds for the educational program MACBA for Families. The program brings contemporary art closer to parents and children through different activities in both a didactic and playful way. The event of this year was celebrated on the occasion of the opening of Jaume Plensa’s exhibition, which the collaborators had the privilege of previewing.

The event took place within different spots of the museum, firstly with a cocktail in the sculpture courtyard, surrounded by the garden with Plensa’s art works The Heart of Trees (2007) and The Heart of Rivers (2016). Later they visited the other halls of the exhibition, which feature the artist’s works from the 1980s to the present, in a dialogue between the representation of the human figure and abstraction. The event ended with a pleasant dinner in the Atrium Leopoldo Rodés.
